a successful career and worldly aspirations are nothing if I’m alone.. it doesn’t make me happy..

Really wanna go Europe for a long trip.. Hopefully bf/fiancé will approve.. Hopefully next year after I’m DONE with sch, we can go tgt.. And we’ll be married.. SO ROMANTICCCC~ haha whatever.. I really wanna go though.. At least go UK and France.. :) ❤❤

standard of living raises not without reason

to give a pay raise to most people in a company say min of 50$ each for 200 people for 12mths.. that would amt to $40k additional cost a year.. to sustain that kind of expense, while not shrinking the profit margins for the boss and shareholders to be happy, you’d wonder how much sustainable profit the company has to generate.. apply this to large companies like exxon or heck, smrt or sbs whose workers think that a pay raise year on year is 80% guaranteed.. so who bear the blunt for enabling those good folks a better life? but would you be happy if I took away ur pay increment? would you invest in those companies if they made losses? esp for those “public service” companies would you mind payin more taxes to sustain those kind of pay growths in event those companies make losses? that’s my way of reasoning out the prices increases, would you be as positive abt it?

Xmas/birthday wishlist

jus started shopping (online) for Xmas presents and boyfie’s birthday present.. and I’m abt half done I think..

I think for my bday this year I would REALLY REALLY like to have a new waterbottle since I lost my KOR delta and haven’t seen any bottles that I must own cept for 1 that has a carbon filter of sorts.. but i cant seem to find it in stores (i saw it on a mag).. hmmm.. nothing else comes to mind.. guess I’m pretty much settled all my other wants and needs.. oh! and I won’t mind a new sweater and a pair of haivainas (think i spelled it wrong) with the back strap like the one i had before it BROKE either.. lol! a girl can’t have too much clothes..

ok jus rambling now.. on my way to meet boyfie for study session.. and I wanna eat pasta from pastabox!

the next phase of my life

boyfie suggested that we get married next yr due to some cultural/superstitious beliefs.. I’m all for better safe than sorry so I’ll jus follow what he wants.. he has mentioned that before but today really triggered a lot of debate off in my brain.. like the planning, who to invite, the customary aspects, how much money needed, etc etc.. and than I wonder if I’m really ready for all these responsibilities and really grown-up stuff and than I thought abt having our own baby and a family.. my mum being a grandma.. lol.. my siblings becoming aunties and uncle.. haha!! it’s really very overwhelming and yet so exciting.. and i really haven’t collected my thoughts abt it very much.. but jus wanted to share this out before I forget all abt it in the rush of the week..
